Changing front clip on my 73 scamp, need info...

Ive decided I dont like the pointed front end on my car(73 scamp) so i'm gonna change the front clip. I know that 70-72 will interchange with the 73, but what i would like to know is if a front clip from 67-69 valiant would work too or if anyone has done this to their 73+? thanks

yeah they would work, I'm pretty sure that the 67-69 Valiant was the same as the Duster except 67-68 the Valiants grill was just a bit different but still interchange-able.

Oh and I forgot one thing you will need a year matching front bumper! i.e 67-72 valiant, 70 -72 duster or 70 dart the all virtually have the same front end

Or you can go fiberglass on the bumpers and such too. There's a company out of Fla. that I've been dealing with. www.aarqualityfiberglass.com. I've recieved thier bumpers for my 72 swinger, and they are nice quality pieces.

one thing you may need to watch out for is in 69 they didnt have side marker lights. they are only reflectors, if you need to pass inspection for the 73 model year you will fail(if the inspection mechanic is competent). 67 or 68 one had none and and the other had little round lights(I dont remember which is which though). 70 and 71 have side markers that are diffrent than your 73.
As you stated you will need the entire clip not just the grill.
