changing light bulbs

hey can anyone tell me how easy it is to change to bulbs in my dash? mainly the speedo. 72 scamp btw, it should have one in there right? any way any info would be great, i dont wanna start tearing things out if i dont have to

I changed all the bulbs in mine this year (now I can actually see them at night ) and I found it easier to pull the instrument cluster to do it. The only PITA in the job (for me, anyways) was plugging the wiper switch back in.

btw, the speedo's probably the same as my '73, so there are two bulbs that (sort of lol) light up the speedo- one high up on each side

It's easy if you're E.T. You know, the extra-terrestrial with long fingers and skinny arms. Seriously, I changed mine without removing the cluster, it wasn't easy but I kept at it and got it done. Relying on sense of touch alone was tricky, it was hard to tell which bulb I was changing and I did some twice.

So I guess it is better to remove the cluster.
