Hi all I recently had a charging problem where the car would not charge unless the feild wire was grounded out ( overcharging ). so I bypass the ampmeter ( I elimanated it anyways ) and go strait to the battery and one other wire to the igntion so I could start the car. so after splicing and rewrapping and new voltage regulator I still was not charging so I take the old voltage regulator off the shelf and wholla it started charging. so now it is operational again uhhh on to carb tunung just thought I would share this with you all.
