I have no idea what the long term effect of what the heat will have on the vacuum hose, but I did put it right over boiling water for 1/2 hour and the hose was fine. I sure the steam is hotter than what comes out of the vents.

And I thought I was cheap for making new window rollers from nylon spacers from Ace Hardware.
Kiddin ya, that's a great solution instead of paying someone 30 bucks for 50 cents worth of hose.

vent hose is common. size is any that fits . find a hose even wire. size close. any kind . way is u want warmth correct. will work.
