Beech Bend is a great venue for nostalgia drag racing. The old covered grandstands give it that 60's atsmophere. Then they stop the racing for about 10 minutes when the blinding evening sun sets right at the end of the strip.
One of my favorite places!!!!

those are some nice pictures thanks for sharing them. my 7 year old son, a kid after my own heart, thinks that the yellow duster is tough. when my son was born my wife and i could not agree on a name, we decided on ryan thomas - we call him R\T.
