IV-2220, XI-2220 1941 = 2500hp 1387.5ci 16VWI. Two V-8s coupled back-to-back with mid-drive. POP: 1 in 1945 for flight tests in XP-47H, redesignated from P-47D, which attained a speed of 490 mph, then the project was cancelled. This was technically the first of the famed Chrysler hemi engines.
