Chrysler's Future...one more year??

-
Word has it that November fourth will be the day the new offerings will be rolled out.

I work for Chrysler at the Centerline NPDC and some of the decisions that have come down recently do not give me much faith that there will be a Chrysler in five years.
Example; they have or will be closing two of the newest, best performing parts depots in the country. why? because the buildings are leased. San Francisco PDC, the flagship parts distribution center, the one they wanted all others to be like, gone! New Detroit PDC closes as of Nov.13. they already closed Newark Delaware PDC, and i think that they are closing Atlanta PDC also.

I Think Its Going To Be Sold Off. Why Else Would They Be Separating The Dodge Cars From The Trucks.

it is sad to see....i too feel it is a matter of time now.:sad3::sad10::angry2::angry3::cry:

I've noticed that one of my local dealers only has Dodge trucks now. Is that what you mean by separating. They gonna keep the trucks part of Chrysler/Dodge & get rid of the rest or the opposite?

they have split the cars & the trucks, they are two separate brands now. just like ford & chevrolet.

I suspect they will keep the Dodge trucks going but the cars will turn into something else. Some sort of Chrysler/Fiat combination?? I read somewhere that the new boss is going to insert euro/fiat technology into Chrysler cars. I bet they focus on smaller, lighter, and more fuel efficient cars going forward. Whether the quality will be there who knows? Doesn't FIAT stand for Fix It Again Tony??

I can't wait to see the 2011 Fiat Challenger. A single seat 1/4 scale version of what we have now. Except 1.3L, hybrid 4cyl. automatic, ultra low emissions and 186 mpg! Oh yeah 0-60 in 14.7.

you can thank american and canadian governements for killing the good cars the ones with gobs of horsepower and pure muscle.

Guess what ... we all voted fr this. .... *sigh*

Actually, if I remember rightly, autoblog I believe had an intergration of Fiat/Chrysler platforms with Fiat making the statement the LY/LX platform was going to intergrated as Fiat really liked the way the platform was engineered. Also, having no larger rear wheel drive set up of their own this platform was going to be looked at for the European markets...
