CKing duster body numbrers?

Hello gang,
on a duster can the stamped body numbers be read from the bottom or the top? if they have to be read from the top is the package tray easy to remove?

The stamped #'s are read from the top. I think you need to remove the top of the rear seat at least, maybe a couple of trim pieces too.
