I am in the process of building an inventory of images I have done that are suitable for t-shirts or banners so that one day (in the future) I can create a business to sell the products at car shows and online.

I have been focusing on creating a specific type of ‘Front view’ art work as an inventory by which I can ultimately offer each image in a buyer selected color. Because I want it to be a universal appeal business, I am trying to cover iconic vehicles from each American manufacturer.

I thought I would share the first few images to get some feedback on what folks think of them...

Great art work as always. I love the front view art!

Reminds me of the Plymouth makes it ad campaign

Nice! Do you have one for a 72 Scamp?

Those ads were my original inspiration and I wanted to take it further across many makes and models. This way it is all original (no copyright infringement) but still with a nod to the Mopar ad art of the day.

Besides, I just really think they are cool!

Not yet, but it could happen. I’m still working through these and getting comfortable with how to do them. Each one takes 3-4 hours to produce and since I work full time, there are only so many hours each day I can dedicate to creating them.

If you want something specific, PM me and I will see what I can do. Not looking to run a business just yet, but doing work for more Mopar friends is something I do regularly on a cost-only basis.

I have created one-off images and prints for several people here as my work time permits. It helps with my building of experience for the eventual business I want to run.

Would you have anything with a 65 mustang?
like one of those old time gas station pics you do?

I guess I missed the PM part. Sorry.

What took ya so long? LOL.
Seriously, I like when you put the year on the license plate. Also, are you going to have some kind of custom lettering on them?
On the license plate or on the image? Once I have the digital files created, I can change colors, add text, etc. on demand.

I printed a few shirts for myself with text on them.

Those are awesome! Are there any issues with copryright infringement using the model names and fonts?
If I add them to the images, yes. The images by themselves are like taking a photo and selling it, so no infringement. The Manufacturers own the logos and I can’t use them as stand alone additions to the images without a license.

I am pursuing licenses with Chrysler now and will follow with the rest.

I can do ‘commissioned’ work as one-offs without getting into an infringement fight which is all I am doing right now.

Love to see shirts with the Front View on the front of the shirt, and a rear view on the rear! Maybe Posi burn out dual tire marks on the sleeves! :steering:

It’s possible to do front and back. Maybe when I get through all the front views I will work on the backs.

I agree with the smoke and flame on both sides, the question I have is the driver the scat pack bee in all the cars?

I figured I would try one of the front and rear view images. It seems to work pretty well!
