Hey guys,
I'm installing a Classic Auto Air unit in my 69 Dart. I have the complete steel dash frame out of the car while restifying it. My car was an air car so the hole in the firewall is larger than the non air cars that the kit accommodates. I made a bulkhead plate for the firewall and want to cut individual hose holes in it, so the mounting of the air/heat unit is crucial as I don't want to cut the holes in the wrong place and have to make another plate. I used red plalydo putty to make a template of where the hoses go thru the firewall plate. The position of the lines looks to me to be low and right of the center of the original firewall blower motor hole. What I need is some measurements from the kick panel to the CAA blower motor, or some pics from under someones dash to give me some visual landmarks for mounting my unit. Any help would be very appreciated.
