I just took my center section and a body housing down from the attic of my garage. wire brushed it down, wiped it clean and painted it. Before I install my center section I was wondering If you guys reccomend anything to clean or spray in the carrier before I put it all together. Brake cleaner?Carb Cleaner? Hopefully this isnt a stupid question I just have never done anything like this before. Any other reccomendations for my install while were on this topic?

Thanks all
Joe

I had my third-member and got some dirt on the gears. I asked Dr. Diff what to do and he told me to hang it upside down by the yolk and spray the gears with brake clener and gravity would do the rest.

So far so good!

wow thats awesome. So just lay it all in there and no need to worry about messing anything up. I was afraid I was going to somehow damage something.

Theres no place like FABO. Great people, quick responses, and very knowledgable!!!!!

Anyone know if local stores sell the suregrip addative or something similar or if I must go to a dealer?

was just going to say, dont forget the friction modifier! and actually, of all places around me, the chrysler dealership is the cheapest place for it (Even cheaper than other dealers and parts houses)...i think its like 11 bucks or something...its the little white bottle with the blue stuff in it8) lol...make sure you use some good gear oil too!
