I have always wanted a Demon can any of you tell me if a 73 dart can be cloned in to a 72 Demon? Thanks

Im sorry I knew that Im looking at a duster close to my house it's a 73 and I would like to clone it into a demon. Im looking for advice from any one that may have done it already.

a 73 duster would have different front fenders, hood, grille, tailights, other misc items. why not just built it as a duster. (most) all the differences are cosmetic. k frame, engines, trannis, rear ends are same from dodge to plymouth

It can be done. You can use the front clip off of a 71/72 dart/demon and the tail panel off of any Demon. There may be some issues with the rear bumper, but anything can be overcome with the right amount of fabbing and dollars.

Basically it is what others have said, by changing the front clip (fenders, hood, grille , valance & bumber) and the rear tailight panel, taillights and bumper you can clone any duster or dart sport into being a demon.

the roof, doors, quarter panels and trunk are identical on all of the 1970 -1976 duster, demon and dart sport models

I was consdering this for class racing since I have 1971 engine in a 1973 car.

I really want the demon look.

So why not just buy a Demon?
By the time you gather all the parts your gonna need to clone one you will have just as much money tied up in it if you had just bought a Demon.

I am kind of doing this same thing. I purchased a '72 Scamp for my wife but she likes the Dart Swinger look better so I just put a '70 Dart nose from a 4dr parts car I have onto her Scamp. It was a little easier to convert because the '72 Scamp rear bumper is the same as the '70 Dart and no tail light panel to change.
