Does anyone know the approximate amount of extension needed after installing Doug's/TTI headers, after the "Z" bar has been modified? I am WAY down to the floor at this point.

Another poster said he cut the rod and added a small dia piece of pipe and welded....Anyone else know the distance, replacement rod or have a better idea?

Thanks,

Pete

I have a 72 Demon 4-speed with TTI headers and when I set up my clutch I had the same problem. After discussing the problem with Brewer's they suggested I had the wrong clutch fork pivot bracket...they were right. I swapped out the bracket with the one they suggested and the original clutch rod fit perfectly and I did not need to lenghten the z-bar. My suggestion is to give Brewer's a call.
