CNC Ported Heads for 318 Poly?

Does anyone do CNC porting on 318 Poly heads? I have a friend in Ohio looking for someone that does them.

This guy is somewhat local and is really into those poly engines. He bounced me because our political views differ but I’m pretty sure all he offers is hand porting. Not that there is anything wrong with that.

Toth is very good from what I have read.

That would be a good place to start.
Pavlovic is top notch.

No one casts Poly heads that I have seen so no CNC but this thread may shed some light on your question. @PROSTOCKTOM

There is/was a fella on the B body site that went to town on porting the poly head on his build. Sorry I can’t remember his name. He was doing unusual stuff for his build. Custom domed pistons etc…

I hang out with Charlie Servedio in which you can copy and paste into the YouTube search bar to find him. When he ports a head for the first time (AKA a strange to him head) he sonic checks the head before grinding as to not break through.

He likes to say he likes a thick wall so it will not have issues in the future. IIRC, his number is .100 for thickness. But, it is better to speak with him on this.
 
At $2800 + parts and shipping……….. in 2013 dollars……. I wonder how many takers there were for that?

he is Very familiar with the poly platform and he does custom porting and sales alum heads for Mopar RB & LA applications.

I guess you gotta really love those heads to pay that much money for those numbers.
 
Those flow numbers are with 1.94" intake and 1.625" exhaust valves at 28", easily 500+ hp with good parts and quality machining, especially with the combustion chamber designed the way it was. Those heads were decades ahead of their time, SB2 heads and most Nascar heads were copied from them in some way/form not that long ago. It's a shame they never caught on as a performance head.
 
There was a stroked 318 Poly in an EMC entry that made 580 HP. Spending massive money for 271 cfm isn't my cup of tea, but for some its interesting to have something different.

Personally I am more interested in the 471 cfm and above stuff, but I can appreciate the dedication spent on all variations in the engine world.
