coffee grinder

Ok so i have been saving up and im ready to take things apart.
I don't plan on rebuilding it because i have never done one before and i kinda don't want to have to pull it out again.

my 360 sounds like a coffee grinder

What do you guys think it might be? It sounds the same in all gears so i don't think its that trans

its coming from the rear of the engine.

should i just start pulling it apart?

You don't think its in the trans huh, well if its a auto trans I would guess the T.C. is gone. the converter spins in any gear, even parked.

its been sitting for almost 2 years, school has kept me too busy.
i just remember not putting thread lock on them...

how do i check them? Are they the ones that bolt to the flex plate?

They are the ones that connect the flex plate to the converter. Known to come loose sometimes and make a lovely sound

do i need to pull the engine or can i see then if i just take the dust cover off?

man im so existed right now, err i just might work on it in the rain!

Yep pull off the inspection cover. And check the 4 bolts

should i use lock tight on them?

i did when installing mine, take off cover and have your buddy turn engine over with a big bar and check each one as it turns over
