Cold lash adjustment specs

looking to see what I should set valve lash for a 225 slant i plan to fire up. I know they should be adjusted hot but we are breaking in a new cam so need to get by for the 20 min period. New stock cam, pushrods and lifters.

To set the valves with the engine cold, I would use the hot lash settings and add .001 to .002 on the intakes and add .003 to .004 on the exhaust.

Yes. The exhaust needs more as it has all the heat.
