Color of Dual Snorkel scoop

I got my scoop today. I'm still contemplating if I shall go matte black or the same color as the car. What do you thing guys? Is there anyone on here with photoshop skills that could help me if they have the time?

If the hood was black, I would do the scoop black. But I have to wonder if it wouldn't look better green since the hood is green.

I think black scoop might look a bit more aggressive and green nice and clean. I'm not thinking of blacking out the hood though.
 
What was the factory protocol on which color it was? Body color unless it got black hood?
 
tried with my cheap program, came out more of a flat though..............

I've never seen any color but black from the factory.

But I think it would look good either way, and might lean toward the aforementioned match with the hood.
 
There is a yellow duster i saw with white 340 stripes and the scoop was painted white. It looks very nice.
 
I watched a tutorial on Youtube and tried some photoshoping. I could not get a match of the green. But here we go...

IMHOP, black would go very nicely with the black stripes on your car, but that's just my taste.
This scoop was only offered in black from the factory, but you're not going for an OEM look for the car anyway, are you?

Thanks for the input. I like the 70's street car look, so I'm going that direction rather then stock.
 
My opinion, for what it's worth. I like the green unless the hood is black then scoop black.

So it seems like it's a 50/50 between black and green. I'm leaning towards green now. I have no plans of blacking out the whole hood.
 
If it was twin scoop (one on each side of the hood) or if it had a go wing id say black but being that scoop is a bigger object in the center of the hood and you have no go wing the green deff looks better imho
