About how thick are you looking for and how much
bigger than your bore diameter?

At least .050 .060 would probably be ok also. Not sure on the amount bigger than the bore yet. It has the Fel Pro 8553 in it now. Thanks. Kim

Sorry: That is thicker than our NHRA specs.
We used to have lots of Head Gasket problems with the Fel Pro Gasket
once NHRA let us use the replacement Edel. Aluminum heads
with Iron Block = Cometics fixed it!!

There are other MLS gaskets. Are the Cometic out of stock? Mr gasket sealed nice on a blower motor and didn't have the drip at the rivets

I just ordered some for my 318 30 over with Edelbrock heads. I took me about 2 weeks to get them from Cometic (.70).
