Cometic Header Gaskets

Anyone else using the MLS Cometic header gaskets? I have them on my stroker with Doug's Headers, and they are leaking all over. Never had a problem with the other kind of gaskets on my other motor with the same set of headers. Was there something I should have done? The mating surfaces were clean. I didn't use any kind of goop on them, just straight gaskets torqued to whatever the specified torque was for the headers. Only been on long enough to barely break the engine in, and driven about 5 miles.

Thanks. They look similar to the original ones I had that came with the headers. I'll probably end up getting a set. Luckily, I got a good deal on the Cometic ones so I'm not losing too much, but it still sucks that they suck so bad with all the hype they get.
