In the Mopar parts book for P4876785 *Aluminum Commando Cylinder Head — 2.02" Intake, 1.60" Exhaust it states that modifications are required to the shafts. Does anyone "like BJR" know what mods they are talking about and/ or are there mads to be made to bolt a set of these on with standard LA adjustable valve gear assembly?

388dart,
The mods that they are talking about are the offset shafts, they will have to be bought, the only people that I know of that sells good shafts is Harland Sharp when I talked to Randy @ Harland Sharp he told me that they are thicker than the regular aftermarket stuff and more durable, he assured me that they would be the last set of shafts that I would have to buy. They are a bit heavier, but they are not moving so I didn't see any harm.

388dart,
Sorry I thought that you were talking about the large port set, the mods that they are talking about with this set is the bolt hole will have to be enlarged to 3/8 as the factory iron heads are 5/16 bolts.

Thanks for the feedback - enlarging the holes to accomodate 3/8" studs is not too painfull a mod and well worth the extra clamping force.

388dart,
You may have to buy the aluminum girdle's or hold downs as they are already drilled for the 3/8 bolts and this will save you the time and trouble of drilling the stock steel retainers, as this is a pain. I believe that they come with the attaching hardware as a set.
