Hi back again this time got my 340 to fire up but shut down quickly as rocker noise it looks as if some of the rocker cup adjusters are not oiling right. driver side looks ok pass side looks like 6 of 8 not wet have not removed yet hope to this weekend and check it better cups & pushrods. has any body else had same problems? Thanks Dale

We need more info on what you've done. Is this a new build? Were the heads rebuilt and if so with what hardware? Did you check push rod length? Aftermarket cam? What Comp rockers and ratio?

Were the shafts put on the correct direction for oiling? Did you pre-oil the engine?

Notches on shafts always go down and to your left. So on drivers side....notch down and to front of engine. Pass side.....down and to rear of engine .

Hi this is a new build,Compcam 280/280 480 lift, compcam ultra pro magnum roller tip rockers,1.5 ratio came with comp shafts oil holes not offset side to side as stock mopar. Pushrod length 7.670 inch. comp hyd. lifters.

comps way of setting rocker shaft height/ valve stem sweep (center of the valve stem tip) is hogwash
