Comp Thumpa Cams???

Comp Thumpr cams, SB

has anyone tried these cams yet? Do they sound great at idle as advertised?
Do you think they would make as much additional power as any other style Comp cam for a base engine?

Im sure they make power just fine. Its all in matching the cam with eveything else. They get the lumpy idle by using really long exhaust durations and a tight 107lsa. It may not be the latest tech but that doesnt mean its no good.

By the way. expect to pay out over a grand for the complete valve train.

my cousin s got one in his 318 it's real lopey but he says it pulls good because the dur.is low ? anyway he didn't but the kit he just bought the cam from jegs 295 it's rollerdesign but uses's reglur flattappets lifter he used his factory rockers pushrods lifters just changed cam and springs i went to the comp site and double checked this
