I was going to put the connecting rods and pistons together today. But I ran into a problem. The rods that I am using have the bearing offset to one side of the rod or a large chamfer. If I remember correctly that is to clear aftermarket crankshafts with larger than stock fillets. So the sides of the rod with the small chamfer go toward the other connecting rod and the side with the large chamfer go toward the crankshaft.

OK that's what I though. Just wanted to make sure didn't want to put the rods on backward.

Bearing tangs go to the pan rail is a easy way to make sure they are orientated correctly .
