I was pulling into a parking lot when I realized that my car was stuck in drive (column rotated fully but did not shift). Booked it towards home in D. Looked under the hood and saw that the shift rod from the tranny was disconnected from the lever on the steering column. I threw it into park by hand and tried to connect the rod to the lever, but I can't figure out what holds it in (falls out instantly any time I move the column). Any sort of clip or anything seems to have fallen out and onto the road.
