What kind of connector is this? It's the one with the little red locking tab.

The red tab is to prevent the harness from unplugging, but I don't know what the actual name is.

Yeah I knew that, but I'm looking for the actual name of the connector series. It's used on a lot of late model Chrysler products, but I've never heard the name (like Packard 56, Metri Pack 150, etc).

Well hell, it's either called a 2 wire Mopar/Chrysler/Mitsubishi connector or they are keeping it a big secret, as I can find them online but that is the only description of plug type I can find.
The same part numbers of those type connectors cross to PT Cruiser, Mitsubishi's and also Jeeps for the alternator, airflow sensors, fuel tank, heater blower as well as other connectors.

Deutsch DT Series Connectors

they have all different series of these types of connectors

Deutsch pins are round, good connectors, but no mate for connector in post.
