Stock Piler of 340's
I need someone who's willing to grab me some measurements for the proper console placement in a '67-76 A-body.
I had installed a '70 Challenger Slapstik Shifter in my '74 and placed the '67-69 A-body console over it where it matched up with the shift pattern and then mounted the console in that location (looked close enough to pass for stock)
I just converted the car to 4-Speed and would like to get my console in the correct position this time, so I need a measurement from the Heater Box (or firewall, just let me know where you grab your measurements) to the front edge of the console, Side to side position isn't as critical, it's not like I can screw that up, since my seats sit tight against the console
My car was originally a 904 on the Column when I bought the car, I swapped in a 727 and Slapstik Shifter, with a floor shift column and a '67-69 Cuda Console. So the proper mounts aren't there on the floor for the correct position of the console. Now it's got an 833 in it.
