I have been sitting on this car for awhile and asking for some input. I have a 68' Dart GTS 383 4spd that needs a lot of work. Car has been sitting at my parents house under a garage for 10 years. Haven't started the car in 8 years. Car is in primer, complete. Looks like the original 383, not to sure if the 4spd is. Will need rear quarters, trunk work, and maybe some floor panels. Front windshield cracked. Car has original exhaust manifolds but intake is aftermarket. Don't know if I will ever have time to work on it. If I do sell her, what would be a reasonable price to ask? I will post some pics later. Thanks.

......it's hard to say. A couple of questions to consider for real price calculation. How original is the drive train? Engine/tranny/rear end. Any build sheet? Fender tag? Vin plate? What's the original color? Bucket seat car? Console car? Let us know this info and we'll be able to help. Should be worth....oh....show us some pictures. Another consideration. Is the car in Hawaii?

If the car`s in Hawaii that will definitely narrow your perspective customer base resulting in a lower bottom line. I would think about 7-9k on a very tired but original bb GTS 4spd.

Sounds kinda high Longone but i'll check the book when i get to the office and then i'll post my findings. You right. If it's in water land it won't be apealing to as many people. May be at his folks here on the mainland.

They are saying that in these tough economic times ,prices are down about 15%, so that`s something to consider. The key word here is original (and even wanahemi doesn`t know about the trans) but that alone should elevate the price. I`ve seen ragged, unoriginal, 340 A/T GTS`s bringing 5-6k on Ebay, so an original 68 GTS with a bb, 4spd should easily make 7k if not more. (On the mainland)

Same #'s i have there Wildcat. The # 5 car may or maynot be a driver. The #4 is a driver. That's where i'd place it but i have found this guide to be very conservative. Doesn't sound like, by his description, his car is the same caliber of car of the two units shown on ebay by a long shot.

I have seen both of those cars on ebay and yes, mine is far from being in that condition. Thanks for the feedbacks. I will try to post some pics tonight. The car is at my parents house across the island. Car does have the original bill sheet and fender tag is still intact. Car was originally white with blue interior. Must be a common color combo. My black 68 340 GTS had the same original color scheme. The motor I believe is original, could not find number on the block. Trans had been changed out by the original owner to an automatic. Somewhere down the line someone converted it back to 4spd. I was probably going to sell the car in the $6,000 to 7,000 range. Not in a real rush. Had the car this long.:glasses7:

That sounds like a fair price. Your car likely needs a total restoration, I just put up those Ebay pieces to give an example of the high side on these cars.
