Correct Dodge Hood Emblem Placement for 71 Demon

I saw 2 Demons at Carlisle that had the block DODGE emblem on the drivers side of the hood, up close to the front edge. It looks like this emblem is supposed to be there...at least from the research I've done so far. Anyone know the approx measurements from the left side of the hood and the front edge? I am having the body shop that painted the car put this on, just wanted to make sure its in about the right place.

I think that Dodge Script lettering is incorrect and in the wrong place. Thanks anyway!
