On the 45 oil filter adapter it does not come with an outer O ring can you use the one off an oil filter? Anybody know what size bolts I use? Also I'm using a 904 transmission what is the best starter to use if you have a link that would be great.

Can't answer the first question since I am not using one but as for the starter the best fitting and cheapest starter for these conversions is the 2005 ram hemi standard trans starter. It tucks up tight against the block ( it will require removing a couple unnessary bumps on the bock) There is a post or two on here that shows what needs to be done to fit it

A photo of where I had to grind my block to fit this starter.

I just posted one of the above mentioned starters for sale.

I'm not sure about the Gasket for the 45* adapter but the TTI block off plate has recessed o-rings in it, I would think the 45* adapter would be the same as that.

Next question should I put the headers on before I try to install the engine or after it is in?

No Im just looking for the bolts that attach the adapter to the block for some reason the Mopar one from year one does not include the bolts or the outer O ring

Next question I think I have to pull the original threaded piece where the oil filter screws onto the block am I right? How do I remove it if so? The 45° adapter won't bolt on with it there
