Anyone happen to be running the 15" coy's wheels on their early A?

I just ordered a set of the gunmetal gray C5's for my 66 dart and was trying to get an idea of what its gonna look like. Was really torn between the Cragers and coy's.

i run 17 on my duster love them.. they are hard to air up but you will enjoy them

Thanks for the tip. Nice to know there's another option besides Cragar's for the sbp.

I'm diggin the 15" C-5. I don't see the C56 in 15" on their website.

Oh, 56 was a mistype, sorry, I've corrected it. They look so good, and they were over $100 cheaper for the set. I was really having trouble deciding against the black chrome though. Figured in the end though that black chrome might always look dirty from a distance.

15's because i really want to run a white letter tire. Thats not really an option with 17's.

Coy wheels are very nice looking on the A body cars. Also remember someone saying that some of the backspacings are set using a spacer. To me thats not really a big deal if the spacer is a good quality one and you have good engagement on the lug nut threads.

However you might want to check out this thread on long wait times for 15" wheels

Well, I hope i dont have that experience with them. I knew they were china jobs going in, so i specifically asked if they had the blanks for the gunmetal 15's. When asked about the black chrome, he replied that he had only 1 set of blanks left. Another reason i decided against the black chrome.

I was told up front to expect a 2 week lead time so im not going to get antsy for 3 weeks, hopefully. I imagine that when the tires show up it may add some anxiety to the situation. Tirerack.com is located in my neighboring state so i think i'll have the tires really fast.

No such luck. Mine spacers were some of the cheapest universal Chinese crap I've seen. Fortunately, I was able to use the rims as-is (4" BS), and didn't need them.

Don't get me wrong, I'm still happy with the Coy's wheels, especially for the price. I think they look great. But I'd recommend anyone buying a set "with a different backspace" to get some GOOD quality spacers and just use the ones from Coy for mock-up.
