Trying to fit these tubular A arms which came in classic industry kit for 68 dart, including 11 in disc setup, the front tube is hitting on a small support bracket welded to bushing housing and frame rail. Is it ok to trim and put plating elsewhere..1/8 in plate? You can see piece I trimmed and tubular arm still hits but don't know how low to trim. Any ideas y'all is appreciated

5 minutes with grinder fixes it.....almost all the tubular A arms hit that bracket...

Thanks for the fast reply! I know those brackets are used to strengthen the housing but didn't know how much to remove. Going to plate around it for strength as cars going 383

Here's what I did to fix. Kept original bracket, sliced half way down, bent back and rewelded...works great! So still have good support.
