Hello All
My name is Doug. I live at the Glass House Mountains, Sunshine coast Queensland Australia, If any of you have been to Steve Erwin’s Australia Zoo, I’m just down the road from there.
I have 2 mopars at the moment, Both are aussi built cars.
This is my 65 Valiant AP6, The body is getting a full restoration.
I’ve been doing all the body work myself, I’ve been at it for about 8 months now, It had a small amount of rust that I cut out and plated and I`ve just got all the body nice and straight. I finely got some paint on it, The paint is called silver-mink and I put a gold pearl in the clear. The car will be of to the painters in a week or two to get painted in there booth.
Future plans for the car is a alloy head 408 small block with 904 auto.
Should be a nice Mopar when finished.
My other car is a 1970 VG 4 door pacer, This will be restored to original as it is a very rear Bathurst homologated race cars, One of 208 ever built. Here`s a few pic`s
