I'm betting that you edit out the parts where T smacks you up side the head for breaking the Miata loose in the curves!

 :steering:
This thing sticks like glue ! She didn't like me crossing the center line. There was a Trooper sitting on the Tail of the Dragon at the big overlook. So after we passed him at the speed limit we picked up the pace !

You correctly called the guy in the wrecker at the end of the first video a 'Trucker'. That's what I heard.....I swear!

Luckily not much traffic on there this time of year. Every once in a while someone would surprise me

These were the tires the day we bought the car ! After that 4 days in the mountains I can tell they won't last long driving like that a lot. They look noticeably worn .

I hear ya There !!! loud and clear. I hear --- " we just got the Miata and the shop , take a break !!!"

My wife went to an international doll show in Ashville five years in a row.

BEAUTIFUL country there.

We (the group of doll "husbands") ended up getting to know the area pretty well.

Driving there is definitely different than Florida.

Lots of intersections were not as much about right/left/straight, as they were about up/down.

"Twisties" is a bit of an understatement.

"Surprise" one lane bridges and dirt/gravel road sections as well.

I think I would be just fine living there.

Killer BBQ and hundreds if not thousands of different "mom and pop" places to eat it.

Those look like expensive, soft and sticky tires.

I drove my 67 GT "decoy" to Carlisle a few years ago along with my brother. I took him for a ride on the Tail of the Dragon. Fun times

I road my motorcycle on that road. Heck of a road with 318 turns in 11 miles. Beautiful area. Well worth a trip to do, bike or car.

Chris Camp lives up on Wayah rd. I know he changed his name here to mountaindweller ( or something like that)but can't find him here.
