Here's my 66' Barracuda this summer. Underside fresh paint. Sadly she possibly won't see the summer sun but I'm hoping for fall cruise time if all goes as expected.
I don't think I've ever seen a hood where someone installed a ring in the hood for the scoop! Seems like a good idea! I may be stealing this design when I get my hemi scoop on!
Looks like Joe (Syleng1) and I are about the same point, except I don't have boxes & boxes of new stuff waiting in the wings.
I am working on fitting an A500 into the tunnel, & engine & trans need to be rebuilt. I'm hoping for next summer, but might be 2019.
After seeing a few others with cars either going into restoration or in the middle of the work being done and I just want to say- it stinks! Mine is on the top of the hill finally starting to get paint and boxes upon boxes of new and rebuilt stuff waiting for the "go." Keep up the progress MoPar people and use these summer of 2017 photos to keep the inspiration to make 2018 where our cars are enjoying the sun! The hardest part of a long project is being able to see the completed end and once you do.... get there.
Joe
Some great work going on and great looking cars. Here's mine after 6 years. I've got my 2 youngest kids for a while so we went to the local 4th of July show. I've got to do stripes, but not til later.
