Custom length battery cable built to your length specifications. I currently have material to build cables using 1/0 EPDM welding cable and limited supply of 2/0 battery cable. All auxiliary cables coming off the battery lugs are upsized, usually 8GA wire for the run to starter relay on POS and radiator support ground on Neg cables. Cables are built with the same detail as my relay kits and are solid pieces.

I use these exact same items on my cars when I do trunk relocations or on cars needing larger better cables.

If moving a battery to the trunk, using smaller gauge cable puts a strain on the battery, starter and cables. Most trunk kits come with 2 Gauge and few are 1 gauge. If you have a car that struggle to crank over, especially when hot, undersized battery cables are a frequent culprit in that scenario.

This is a set built based on a 70 340 Swinger and works on most all 67-74 A body small blocks. With the OEM repro stuff priced at 140 for a positive and about 60-80 for a negative cable.

My A body cables are right at 150 + shipping for both. They are much more stout than the 4ga OEM wire. IIRC these cable are about diameter/size for copper of the 4ga cables.

I use these exact same items on my cars when I do trunk relocations or on cars needing larger better cables.

Another set for an A body. A 67 Car. I added an auxiliary ground for the core support because it's good to have and the 67's are lacking that wire.
