Custom Decals???

Anyone know of a source to get custom made decals for 1/24 scale models.

I have a van model in my near future and I would like to get some custom decals for the side of the van......the decals will have race team name or maybe a business name that is my own.

Hi Ranigirl,

I Got a friend on FBBO who custom makes decals for HO scale slot cars. Dan can prob size stuff up to ,1/24 & 1/25 scale for you, i have seen him custom make decals for lots of slot cars . I will PM you later w his email addy.

Thats one of the very few "hobby" things I don't do. Print my own decals, I did many years ago but since then, the Alps I had went crap but it was a used machine when I got it......

Dan is pretty good as I've seen some of his work and like Matt, know of the work he does, and is involved with Dan to get some of my own done LOL so.....Plus I talk to him over the phone when I can.....

Yep, Alps printer. No longer made, but fanatical following.

Prints in metallic colors and white.

There was a rumor that they were going to start making them again, but seems to have fizzled.

You can get "simple" supplies to do CYMK colors on traditional inkjets and lasers from places like Micromark.

Thats just the issue, I know that you "can get" the inkjet stuff to print, I merely do not have a printer... and if I go into it, I'll probably jump in both feet and buy a good printer so that I can print decals as I used too......Big cash tho....I just can't go an justify it right now or even the thought too.....

...and really, I am only playing, I could get right into producing but, I retired due to health so.....I know I need to be careful as I can get carried right away with it....
