Cut away of a Dyno Max muffler #18381

-
Good to know a part number for a quiet muffler, I am going to have to try those Dyno max mufflers. I recently put flowmaster delta flow 50 series on a customer vehicle (non mopar) (ford 460) to see what they sound like. Flowmaster is an extremely high quality product that is made in USA but they are louder than I expected.

I would have liked a quieter muffler after I had a chance to drive the vehicle for a couple weeks

Oh wow! That’s weird! I’d love to put some on a flow bench. No one really provides the mufflers flow rate. Just dyno max on there performance mufflers and Heartthrob. I don’t know how to convert 222cfm @10hg to 28hg.

370.74 cfm. 222 x 1.67 = 370.74 (via SuperFlow handbook)

I'm assuming it is for the Dynomax muff you quoted.. I just wanted to help out with the conversion from 10" pressure drop to 28"..
OH! Thanks! Totally missed that. Dang. The posted numbers were on the “Heart Throb” units.
Now we know! Thanks.

That’s a pretty healthy muffler then!
