cylinder head choices

I just took block into Indy cylinder head to get bored out and I'm just wondering what everyone is running on their magnums as far a heads go. I have the stock heads that came on a running engine but I know they are prone to cracking. So with that said I was thinking of going a different route. Car is gonna be a street /strip car pump gas friendly with 3:55 and I will run a stall. I wanna get the car into the mid to upper 7 sec range which I don't think will be hard in my 71 dart. What heads and cam do you guys recommend and who to get it from at a reasonable price. Thanks
 
As far as a street driven vehicle running 3.55's with good manors, something like a cam like;

212-218 intake
220-228 exhaust
Under .500 lift on a 110

You could cam it a bit more with a 230 intake duration.
That is approx. A 2000-6000 rpm range cam.

Summit racing has very good prices.

Makes me feel good. The little hydraulic roller in my 5.0 goin in the Bobcat is .477/.506 218/224 on a 110. It has a Ford 8" with 3.40 gears. Oughtta work good with the little T5. I hope I get to find out.
 
Make sure you buy heads with the LA intake bolt pattern. The Magnum bolt pattern has only a few intake choices.
 
Pro-Comp iron, bought them bare for 200 a piece and used everything off my old heads. Machine shop said heads came in great condition with guides and seats needing no work.

Sweet combination, R.R.R.. Someone I worked with,overcammed a 302 (Comp 284XE) ,same gears/C4/Tci 3500 converter. Ran mid 13's at Famoso,.no tuning.(11:21@119/175 shot) Too much can,my opine. That grind falls right in line,with that low gear T5.
 
I can tell you if you want the EQ heads, STAY AWAY FROM ODESSA CYLINDER HEAD !!

Brian can set you up with some RHS Magnum Heads that will hep you get that 7 sec 1/8 mile. He Has a stroker he did for a magazine that did 7 off the trailer.
