so im running my 65 dart at mats the year and I have a couple questions when it comes to tuning. currently the car runs consistant 12.0s @ 110-113 depending on temp. my track is at sea level and this time of year is perfect for drag racing. ive been tracking the DA in vegas and it always seems to be at about 2000ft this time of year. the race isnt until the end of march so it will be warmer.

what kind of changes should i make to help with the tune up for the higher DA and elevation?

70AARCuda/Tony, is your best friend here. He lives in Vegas, top notch track guy.

I would expect to see the DA at best around 2800 in Vegas in March....but usually in the low 3000...

the air is dry but it is the Barometric Pressure or lack of...that kills the DA here....

my car ran 3 tenths faster in Sacto then in Vegas.......

I usually run about 2 jet sizes front and back leaner in Vegas then Sea level..

Just bring us some of that good Sacto air

I would think they would run these best around 34 degree of timing....

ok, ill give that a shot. the car loves timing for some reason. maybe thats why im having issues with upper end power

You may be running a little too rich if it continues to gain with that much timing. Are you running an a/f gauge or reading the plugs?

what do you mean by that?

plugs look good. when i was tuning the car i pulled two plugs after each pass and they seemed to look great. my question is about lv track tuning in comparison to sac where i live
