She just called and wanted me to update my parts wanted list.
Instead of the shirts and smell good crap,she always gets me parts for x-mas,bdays,aniverseries and such. I'm gonna have to pass on that summit discount code to her.


Oh yeah, she is smart and puuuurty too!
 
my wife is like that too. then she remembers how much this stuff cost, then she gets mad that I keep buying parts. so now I just ask for socks...

My mommy buys me parts for Christmas! lol.. I ask for parts from my husband and he gives me those blank stares.. my Poor Chevy Boy don't know anything about ordering Mopar parts.. and then if by chance he does decide to order me something, he gripes because parts cost 'sooo much more' than GM parts.. he's retarded.. lol The parts might cost more, but its because everyone has GM.. you have to pay more because our Mopars aren't as common :) I always tell him.. I'm still lookin' for a keeper.. I need me a Mopar guy.. lol

i dont have a wife but my girlfriend gets me parts and wants to pay for a set of tires so i will do a burnout with her in the car

When I got married,my mom gave us a check and in the memo line it said "NOT FOR CAR PARTS" and a ad clipping for a new washer and dryer was enclosed with the check...LoL ThanK's MoM!!!

My wife bought me my car for my birthday, but hates when I spend money fixing it up. Shakes head.

well I keep getting the stare and told that I wont have the car long enough and she doesn't want me to sell my presents she's a Chevy girl and doesn't get the dodge thing yet MAYBE ONE DAY :roll: she'll get it still think I'll keep her

we own a 64 fairlane 500 sports coupe. i wanted to put a stroked 351 in it. of course it will not fit under the flat hood, so the wife tells me in no uncertain words that i am not going to put a thunderbolt hood on the car. i jokingly say then i will another car to build a hot rod. in rolls the dart, again jokingly say i am either going to put a hemi in it or i will need to put a hood on the ford, here i am starting to order parts for a hemi......now that is a wife.....
 
My Dart was in the garage when I got home from work. It was Father's Day. About a year ago she gave me ten grand to paint the Charger. Last month for my birthday she re-newed my Mopar Muscle subscription. She likes GTO's but understands the whole Mopar thing. Can't wait till Christmas.
 
Okay, my wife just proved me a liar. Even as I was reading the responses from this thread she was standing fifteen feet away, couldn't see the screen, and asked me if I wanted parts for Christmas... We've been married for eight years now and when I've asked for 'em I get a blank stare, this year she asks me if I want 'em, for which project, and where to find 'em...

My wife always gives me a Summit gift certificate--Christmas, birthday, anniversaries...if I could get the girlfriend to do the same, my car would be finished by now!! :bootysha:
