Dana in a 69 dart

Any mods have to be done to a 69 dart to fit a dana 60 (besides narrowing the rearend) I have heard that the center section will hit the fuel tank? I have searched old posts but have not found any info.

I just bought a 68 Dart with a Dana 60. No modifications that I can see

Some will clear some won't, it is hit and miss.
If you are using a T/A girdle cover it will hit.
If the rear is moved back 1 inch it should help.

If the Dana is moved back, it will hit the gas tank. If you keep it in the stock location, with a stock diff cover, it should just barely clear.

our usually rub just a little in the chrome diff covers. but other than axle lengths and wheel backspacing it pretty straight forward
