Dana in an A-body question

I have a question for those of you who have put a Dana in your A-body (67-69 Dart in particular) and mounted it in the factory rear end location. Did mounting it in the factory location on the springs that an 8 3/4 (or smaller) rear would be cause any gas tank clearance issues? It looks like a Dana sticks out more on the back of the center section than an 8 3/4.

Strange S60 in my 71 Demon. Yes it’s close. Don’t think I could fit one of the cast covers.

Well I have never been mounted to the rear springs but I should fit without issue

No picture but I have an s60 as well. I can slide my hand between the stock cover and tank. Brother had a spare cast cover, I’m sure the cast cover would not fit.

Same here , cast cover wont fit , no problems tho-------------
