Man I am so fet up with this VW I got ! Its acting like the hall effect sensor is out. I give up with these fancy shmancy electronic doodad filled imports. I have two of the most reliable machines ever built to run the roads....a 22r in my trusty toy pick up and ....a slant six 225 in my rusty valiant that refuses to die !!! Both have electromnic nada in them, both have carbs and crank every stinking time I have ever turned the key !!! I used to like VW when they were small, air cooled and you could work on them with a roll of twine !!! Now all I got to say is..:thefinge:...you over engineered kraut stuffed frankenfruters !!!!! I put my slant six against your fahrefenugen any day !
 
My wife is elated to have unloaded her 2007 Audi Q7. What a piece of crap. Fuel spewing under the hood twice from failed injectors and many other trips back to teh dealer for other problems...Back to US built and happy.
 
I work on the biggest piece of German crap on the road for a living.

Mercedes-Benz, and yes they are over rated piles of crap.
 
I feel your pain. I have a VW Passatt wagon. Seldom drive it as I prefer the old 96 Ram pickup.

Funny! I think electronic control mumbo jumbo is great for the first 3 - 5 years. Then one by one all those complex systems start to fail costing lots and lots of money and the vehicle becomes a money pit.
