I saw this Dart for sale in a Swedish car site.
It´s still in the US and he wants $ 2800 for it.

This is what it says in the ad

"Hi,I have a 1968 Dodge Dart GT 2dr. hardtop,running slant six,automatic transmission,console,factory bucket seats,solid california car,needs restoration,clean title,perfect for that 426 hemi Super stock clone. $2,800."

I have contact info to the guy in Sweden.

I think that belongs to Al from Al's Rapid Transit in Willows, CA. He is a member here. He also has the green '70/'71 that a SoCal meer was looking at.

Sorry, been busy the last weekend.
You´re right GTX ,I got the e-mail to Al from his friend here in Sweden who put the ad in the Swedish car site.

Did send a message to Al to check with him that it would be okay to post his e-mail, so here it is.

Does anobody know if he´s active on FABO or his screen name?

It happends quite often that cars still in the US is advertised in Sweden.

Alan's FABO screen name is: als499. The last time he was active, was to post the '71 Swinger that Grinder was interested in on 10/21.

I use to export vehicles back in the day..they still like big American convertibles, old Harley's, and 1950's pickups ?
sent them to a shop in Horby, Skane, Sweden.

take care.

American converts from the Fifties are the most popular, then comes the American muscle cars from the late sixties and early seventies.
The import from the US has been increadible the last two or three years, due to a low value of the US dollar.

There were a very large number of cars imported to Sweden in the mid seventies, but that can not be compared to the last couple of years.

It's a decent looking car, but that's the one quote I hear and read a lot.. "perfect for that 426 hemi clone". Even if the car is totally rusted out POS they always write that and then want way too much for it. It frustrates me. Not that it makes me not want this Dart, don't get me wrong, I just don't like reading that.
