Hey A Nuts, Recently installed an Edelbrock 500 CFM Performer carb on 273 and thought I would share a pic of my workaround. Not finding a diagram of the Charger type mechanism in the manuals or here. I drilled a hole in the supplied carb linkage as far back as possible. Then used a 6-32 button head cap screw to connect the cable and kickdown rod. It seems the carb has a lot more travel then the kickdown rod so I am not yet sure I can get full throttle. Will get back to you all on that. For now Just though I would share the original setup. So kickdown your linkage pics.
