1975 Dodge DART Swinger 318 ci. auto . cranks, starts, runs, drives . Will restart if started within 10 minutes .Then engine cranks but doesn't restart. Wait 30 minutes engine cranks ,and starts, you could drive 80 miles .no problems until restart. looking for suggestions . Thanks

Probably heat sink flooded. When it does it, try holding the throttle open all the way while cranking. If it isn't fuel related, you need to test for spark whenever it acts up. To help keep it from happening, adding a spacer under the carb sometimes help keep the fuel from boiling in the float bowls. Make sure your heat riser is not stuck closed or partially closed. That can cause more heat in the intake manifold exhaust crossover under the carb.

My 74 did the same.lol
Junk in the tank, kept changing filters too.
But I think it was carb related. 'Flooded after shut down' leaky needle n seat in the carter.
I changed the carb and it fixed it .Try the wot trick. I usually had to remove the air cleaner and blow air down the carb.
Something that occurred with those years.
