Dart V8 Conversion, what do I need to know?

Hi All,

I'm balls deep in my first swap and I'm trying to make plans for an exhaust. Here's the deal

What I have

68 dart (previously the /6) with power steering
motor and trans from a 82 M-body (5th ave)

Due to budget/time restraints i've had to rethink the master plan. What I need to know is

Can I use the exhaust manifolds that came on the donor motor (82' 318) without running into obstructions? Or do I require the manifolds from an org a body. can anybody suggest a decent exhaust kit that will ship to Canada?

I have a pristine set off my 360 that was in a restored 66cuda with 12000 miles on them since restoration.
Still nice and silver no rust.
I am using headers now.
They are perfect!

I am not sure if those manifolds will work on not, but they will be holding you back and more power is always nice, especially after you spend so much time installing that engine. I would recommend these if you are on a budget. The entire kit is $380 before shipping. I think summit ships to Canada often. I am running these headers and exhaust and fits nice. I did change out the mufflers to flowmasters, but fits like a glove and you can still get the starter in after they are installed. The only drawback is the headers capture the steering which is a pain in the butt while installing and they do hang lower than the TTI's, but I won't spend $700 on a set of headers. You just have to watch out for those speed bumps.
