Since its been difficult for myself to find a nice clean, straight drivers-side fender for my 65 GT Dart, I was kinda thinking about just getting the sheet metal from a 64-65 barracuda and making something no one else around here has.. What do you guys think? I've always loved the frontend look of a 64-65 cuda, but this would be best of both worlds I think.

Thanks,
RD

Assuming it fits, I say "go for it"... finding a whole front clip for a Valiant/Barracuda may be almost as difficult as finding '63-'65 Dart metal, though.

I've also toyed with the idea of a four-door Scamp, or a '67-'69 Demon or Duster.

That would be cool 8). I got the idea from the member on here known as 'Waggin.' He's got a pretty trick 2 door hardtop wagon/barracuda/dart gt. Now I just need to find someone willing to trade sheet metal for sheet metal...

Over at /6.org Doug Dutra has an early Barracuda with a 64 Dart front clip on it. Pretty cool looking!

I say go for it!!!! (And keep us posted with pics of your progress when you do).

I've got a 69 Dart GT Convertible that I'm considering making into a Demon Convertible 8) :-D
