Dash cover install

Just recieved my new dash pad cover from yearone. Don't know who they use but the fit and color look to be super, this is for a 70dart. Question, the dash pad is off and out of the car so would it be easier to attach the cover now or wait until that pad is installed back in the car?

I dont think it makes much difference when the cover is layed on. You might wait if you think you may scratch it or something. Most are installed on a dash cap that is already in a car.

hope you have better luck with yours than i did.installed exactly as the instructions said,left it in the garage 5 days for the epoxy to cure.first day out in the sun it looks like the waves on a lake.contacted the company that made it and they sent me a new replacement but why go to the trouble of getting the first one off and installing another to have it do the same thing?save your money and buy a repop.AL
