Dash Paint

My 69 Dart Swinger is in for new paint, I would like to have the dash which is black repainted also. To get the right texture and shade what paint should I be using ?

Totally Auto's Satin Black...pricey but it looks right. All you need is one can, $24.95. http://www.totallyautoinc.com/

I've also use Rustoleum Flat Black, need to stand back and fog the dash to get the correct texture.

I used SEM Trim Black on my 70 duster dash..looks good....Sort of between a flat and semi-gloss finish...Dan

I used semi gloss, then while it was still tacky, I fogged over it with cast blast, and more semi gloss. The cast blast added that slight mettallic look. It took a few tries to get it looking right, so if you can buy it in a can, go for it.
